OPINION: Current Potential Dislocations in Asset Prices
Dislocations in asset prices can work both ways, they can be dislocated to the downside as well as the upside. In this article, I am going to attempt to give you (my readers) an idea on how I see the financial world at this specific point in time regarding the asset prices around us.
The Importance of Trust in the Younger Generations.
I believe that too many people overlook the power of youthful energy and thought. There are of course negatives to youth like being naïve, unaware of certain things or possibly inexperience in a field of work/study. In my opinion though, all people carry these traits but the younger you are; the more pronounced they can seem. My argument is that all things considered, a young and inspired person can bring increasingly more to the table than an experienced person. Why? It is their ambition, independent thought, and time.
The Difference Between a Good and Bad Bet
What is a bet? It is belief in an outcome that the person placing the bet thinks will occur. You can lose with a good bet, and win with a bad one. Knowing if the bet placed is good or bad comes down to the fundamental decision you are making, not the outcome.
The World Changes for the BETTER Whether We Notice or Not.
During the first few months of the Pandemic, I kept thinking about an article that was shared with me by my old boss titled; This Has Been the Best Year Ever written by Nicholas Kristof at the end of 2019. When I first read the article prior to the Global Pandemic, I found it as an excellent article. As the months went by, I re-read the article prior to sharing it with my Bozeman’s Chamber of Commerce Leads Group and it made me think. I was debating in my head as to whether this was something to share due to all the turmoil that had been taking place. In all honesty, it was more than worth sharing because the facts discussed are still true.
